_Anger Management

Anger management is about understanding your anger and why it happens. It is about learning and practising better ways of expressing anger, and sometimes knowing how to prevent it from occurring in the first place.

The Anger Management process has a two-fold purpose. The first goal is increasing one's understanding of the experience of anger. Secondly, from this understanding a strategy for effective and respectful communication of anger is developed.

_Divorce Recovery

Our staff members have been involved as speakers for the divorce recovery programs. Topics presented include making peace with the past, developing healthy relationships, managing the emotions associated with divorce, and setting a new life direction.

_Grief Support

Our staff members have been involved as speakers for for grief support programs. Topics include the stages of grief, coping with loss, and the impact of death on children.

_Parent Education Seminar

Life Support Christian Counseling Center offers a Parent Education Seminar to assist divorcing parents in understanding the needs of their children.

The seminar addresses divorce from a child's perspective, with emphasis on how the child experiences divorce differently at each developmental stage. Parents will be taught to identify when their children are at risk for emotional and/or behavioral problems and given helpful strategies on ways to respond practically and empathetically.

_Premarital Counseling Workshop

Premarital seminars, usually conducted by Albert Tope-Ojo, are available for either couples considering marriage or those already engaged.

Topics discussed in the seminars include conflict and communication skills, sexuality and romance, financial management, and family of origin issues. Premarital couples can also make appointments for individual sessions with any of the consultants at Life Support Christian Counseling Center.

_Sexual Addiction Restoration

Restoration is a program designed for the treatment of compulsive sexual behavior within a community of faith.

These behaviors may include compulsive masturbation, multiple affairs, pornography, and frequenting of "adult" oriented businesses.

_Single Parenting Workshop

Life Support Christian Counseling Center's single parenting workshop targeted for those who have previously attended the divorce recovery program, but open to anyone.

_Marriage Enrichment Seminar

Conducted for Churches and Organizations to enlighten and help soften the day to day rigors of marital relationships.

This can be arranged and packaged to meet peculiar needs of any organization at their request.
